Where we work

Valley Stream Area Asbestos Removal Coverage

Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Elmont, Malverne, the Five Towns, Oceanside, East Rockaway and Rosedale across the Queens line.

White house with a wraparound porch and lawn

Asbestos Removal Valley Stream works with homeowners, sellers, buyers, contractors and building managers in Valley Stream and the towns around it, including Lynbrook, Elmont, Franklin Square, Malverne, Hewlett, Woodmere, Lawrence, Oceanside and East Rockaway, plus Rosedale just over the line in Queens. The housing here is mostly postwar: capes, high ranches, split-levels and colonials, with garden apartments and co-op buildings near Sunrise Highway and the rail stations. Many were built in the decades when asbestos was a routine ingredient in pipe insulation, floor tile, ceiling texture and siding, which is why it so often turns up during a sale or a renovation.

Nassau and the city line

Nassau County jobs follow New York State rules. Rosedale and other Queens properties add the city DEP program on top, and we handle both.

Houses and multi-family buildings

A single basement and a whole co-op hallway call for different containment plans. Each gets one built for it.

The same team in every town

From Elmont to East Rockaway, (516) 363-4776 reaches the same people with the same process and the same paperwork.

Does the Process Change From Town to Town?

Not in the ways that matter. A seller in Lynbrook and a landlord in Elmont each receive lab results, a scope on paper, containment under negative air, permitted disposal and independent clearance at the end.

What does change is the rulebook and the building. Nassau County properties fall under New York State asbestos rules, while Rosedale and the rest of the city add DEP filings such as the ACP-5. A detached house, a co-op with residents upstairs and a storefront each need their own containment layout and schedule. We plan for those differences before work starts, so they never surprise you halfway through.
